Lightning Strike at N7US
Caught this on the Tower Talk reflector. I think this is a perfect (but unfortunate) example that even with the best protection there is really nothing you can do when you have a direct strike. NPR Segment on Amateur Radio
Always nice to see articles on Amateur Radio, this was sent to me from W2PA and I thought it would be nice to share with those who missed it. National Public Radio (NPR) did this nice article recently. There is also an interesting comment made at the bottom of the article from Laura Drake.
Elecraft K3 and iPhone
