About
RRR GA OM TNX UR 599,
v1.1
Born on July 27, 1973 in Mount Kisco, NY.
Moved to the Great state of Maine when I was 8.
Passed my Novice test 2/3/87 at the age of 13.
First call KB2CLQ (Longest in CW!) Very active from Maine on all bands up to 144Mhz SSB. Moved back to NY in 1992 after high school. 1993 passed the Advanced (KF2PC). Was active for a few years from NY. Bounced around for a few years then took a job at Xerox Corporate Headquarters in Stamford, CT. Worked with some very interesting technology that of course Xerox could never figure out how to market. 2000 I accepted a job with BBN/GTE Internetworking in Burlington, MA working with a team of Engineers building extremely secure IP based security solutions. After the Dot Com bubble burst around 2003 we decided to move back to New York and I started a Network consulting company. At the same time I started working (unpaid) for a small startup called Glance Networks out of Arlington, MA. Couple guys and a cool idea and now 10 years later we are a very healthy and growing screen sharing technology company, check us out! I was inactive between 1994 and 2005. Got back on the air June 2006, I have jumped back in with both barrels blazing. Passed the Extra in April 2007 and having a blast in the bottom 25 Khz. My Main interests are DXing, contesting and antenna building.
I am active on 160 through 6M and enjoy most all technologies that the hobby has to offer. EME, WSJT, CW and PHONE are just a few places you will find me. Most of the time you will find me in the pile ups, and also in the evenings rag chewing with a great group of guys around 3695 +-/ 1865 +- QRM.
Additionally, I have been married for 8 years and have two beautiful daughters ages 3 and 5 that I regularly teach Morse code too.
That’s it for now. CU on the Air.
